Request for Proposals: 2025 Courtyard Plinth Commission

Objectspace are seeking proposals for their Courtyard Plinth, installed at the entrance to their Tāmaki Makaurau gallery.

Objectspace welcomes proposals for new work to be installed in our courtyard. The successful proposal will detail an innovative installation that responds to this unique site. We encourage practitioners in the craft, design and architecture fields to apply.

Given its position outside the building and exposure to the elements, there are a series of pragmatic and contextual considerations to be understood by practitioners applying to realise an installation in this space. Find out about these considerations, the site, project budget and proposal guidelines here or download the commission info pack here.

Proposals will be accepted until 5pm Monday 2 September 2024.

The successful project will be installed in April 2025.
