Sculpture in the Gardens @ Auckland Botanic Gardens Te Māra Huaota o Waipapa

Returning to Auckland Botanic Gardens for its tenth edition, Sculpture in the Gardens brings together 15 artists and artist collectives from across Aotearoa New Zealand, transforming the Gardens into an expansive outdoor exhibition of contemporary sculpture. Running from 14 November 2026 to 28 February 2027, the biennial exhibition presents large-scale works along a 1.7km trail, inviting visitors to encounter art within the changing landscape.

Curated by Dr Linda Tyler, Terry Urbahn and Olivia Haddon, the exhibition brings together established and emerging practitioners whose works respond to the Gardens’ landscape and natural environment.
