The Natural Rate, a solo exhibition by Shiraz Sadikeen at Treadler in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, brings together paintings, prints and sculptural assemblages incorporating everyday objects and unconventional materials. Works included The Natural Rate (Composition with Phillips Curve) (2024), an acrylic painting on canvas; Verso/Wageform (2024), a mixed-media diptych; and Standstill (2024), an assemblage of waste paper bins, duct tape, a clock face and copy paper. Other works incorporated coins, incense, ceramics and found objects.
