Audrey Holmes’ Liminal: The Power of Trees brings together 27 oil paintings alongside a selection of mixed-media works on paper. The exhibition explores trees and forests as liminal spaces—thresholds between the familiar and the unknown, and places of connection, transition and reflection. The paintings are arranged in three sets of nine and are unified by a recurring colour palette and imagery drawn from trees Holmes has encountered, photographed and sketched over many years.
