The Art News team highlights 10 Must-See Exhibitions in the upcoming quarter.
Baldwin is the third recipient of the award, which supports an Aotearoa New Zealand-based artist to complete a four-week residency in the UK.
Ia rā, ia rā (rere runga, rere raro) - Everyday (I fly high, I fly low) is presented by The Dowse and the Office for Contemporary Art Aotearoa.
The work will be shown alongside projects by around 180 artists representing thirty-two countries in the South Korean Biennale's largest-yet Pavilion project.
The scholarship is a national award of $5,000 given to support an outstanding postgraduate student in the final year of a visual arts study.
The artist was selected from over 30 applicants and will work alongside Metroland Cultures in Brent as well as pursue their own research during the residency.
The installation will visualise data, sounds and images from Haupapa Glacier, Aoraki Mt Cook, and will be live-streamed to KHŌJ in New Delhi.
Though Erica van Zon’s tributes to pop culture look distinctly satirical, they are in fact made with great love, tenderness and sincerity. Virginia Were reports.
